The Flexible Physics project was accepted for UW-Madison's 2011 "Educational Experiences and Materials for the Google World" award competition to create video-based learning objects for labs for undergraduates and teaching assistants in physics.

We presented our project at the UW Madison Innovation in Education Showcase in March 2012:

This project is sponsored by the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning, with contributions from the Libraries, the Division of Information Technology (DoIT), the Division of Student Life, the Office of the CIO, the Vice Chancellor of Administration, and the Provost. Seed funding is intended for campus to develop educational experiences and materials that are forward looking, student learning outcome-based, and part of the socially-constructed education possible in the "Google World." It is envisioned that this project helps to change the very nature of the educational experience.
